She is a postdoctoral researcher, as well as a hybrid and documentary film teacher at the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound (RITCS), Brussels.
Tom Lambeens
Tom draws and writes. Tom loves flowers.
Isn’t it so that the assumption that ‘everything is interesting’ leads to downright numbness if not preceded by the question of how something can appear? I would like to demonstrate the urgency of interplay between how and something – the neglected child in the orphanage of the arts – by reference to an artist in whose art, according to some, is nothing of topical interest left to be found: Jean-Siméon Chardin. The interplay between how and something as it appears in his dull, dull still lifes is, in my view, the escape hatch to the horizon within which anything could possibly be interesting.
Anneleen Swillen
Wie is Anneleen Swillen? Waar zal haar lecture performance over gaan? Hoe zal ze deze uitwerken? En, wordt het interessant?
Who is Anneleen Swillen? What will her lecture performance be (about)? And, will it be interesting?
