Niaz Mirmobini, PhD candidate at READSEARCH (PXL-MAD / UHasselt), presents SEIR — an experimental exhibition combining calligraphy and photography — in collaboration with Honey Kazerooni, Master’s student in Graphic Design at PXL-MAD.
Both artists draw inspiration from Rumi, the Persian poet and mystic whose timeless works explore themes such as divine love, spiritual journey, and self-discovery. For Niaz, this odyssey takes the form of rhythmic calligraphic word combinations that dance across the artwork. For Honey, it is expressed through the body’s expressive language. These paths intertwine, creating a synchronicity between the visual narratives of the two artists.
The exhibition SEIR opens on Friday, December 19, from 18:30 to 20:30, at ZLDR Luchtfabriek, Marktplein 5, Heusden-Zolder, and can be visited until January 4, 2026, daily from 10:00 to 17:00.
Following the opening of the exhibition, you are invited to enjoy RUMI PASSION, a musical theatre performance inspired by the life and timeless writings of Rumi.
